To staff our facilities and programs with talented medical professionals, Montage Health Foundation funds:

• Advanced education for staff at the William R. Lewis, MD, Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU)
• Affordable housing support for physician and clinician staff
• Helen G. Baszucki Center for Nursing Excellence (CNE)
• Physician engagement program
• Support for California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) and Monterey Peninsula College clinician and nursing programs

Clinical innovations

Rely on Montage Health Foundation to fund forward-looking programs, technology, and equipment that make a difference in patient outcomes. Our focus on clinical innovation has led to:

• Availability of advanced technology, including minimally invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and treatment options at Tyler Heart Institute and our da Vinci surgical system and robotic surgery program
• Expansion of the Carol Hatton Breast Care Center
• Laboratory technology upgrades to deliver fast, accurate test results
